Hospital Stories
I hospitalized myself in the biggest hospital in Israel due to unknown sickness, for unlimited time. My family and friend took part in the new scene by playing rolls as Doctors, nurses, and supporters. In the photographs, I striped away disease or any other concrete reason for the dire situation, and focused instead on the state of waiting as both a physical and emotional state, an eternity of waiting. The photographs center on the gathering around the sickbed; it zeroes in on the helplessness of the hospital experience, on being attached to machines, the endless tests, and uncertainty.
